3rd Anniversary

Mike worked over night and got home at 7:00 am on the day of our anniversary. We decided no gifts this year. We wanted to show each other through our actions how much we love each other. Awhhh. Mike waled in and saw these... it was a collage of memories that we've shared over the past eightish years dating and being married. He loved it of course and would not let me take it down for a couple of days.

Week 25

Baby Kiemeney Shower

Mike and I traveled back to California for our little man's 1st co-ed baby shower thrown by Grandma Myers (Jen's mom) and Tania (Jen's friend). It was beautiful. There was a cupcake and chocolate dipped pretzel table (everything handmade by Jen's mom) and of course good food for both sexes. We played games (i.e. toilet paper diapers, who could drink the bottle the fastest with no hands and a baby memory game). Super fun!!! We were overwhelmed with amount of friend and family that came and by all the gifts that were brought by all. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It was great getting to spend a little bit of time with all of you that were able to come. Thanks again! Next time we come back we'll have Baby Boy Kiemeney in our arms rather than in my belly:)

Broken mailbox :(

So we got home from work and this is what we saw. No note in the mailbox and it was open with no mail. Hmmm??? There are new homes that are being built directly across the street. So we think that the culprit was a construction worker's truck. Our neighbor corroborated our theory. We e-mailed the builder and a couple of days later our mailbox was replaced. Hurray!
