Christmas

Mason's first Christmas! That made this Christmas all the more special. I don't know Myers family, I think we have another junior elf in the making. Mike was on call over Christmas (all day and all night on the 25th) but that didn't stop our festivities. Jen made homemade ravioli and spaghetti that we ate together on the 23rd. We opened presents on the 24th and then Mason and Jen ate leftovers with Mike in the cafeteria on the 25th. Not perfect in the traditional since but it was perfect for us because Mason was there:)

Merry Christmas!

Santa is Mike's co-worker, a respiratory therapist, in the emergency department. Hair and beard are 100% real! Amazing. He was taking pictures with all the kiddies for a monetary donation towards cancer research in the medical school building. No lines at the mall for us.

Week 9

Happy Thanksgiving!!! (week 7)

Little Turkey

We spent thanksgiving together, just the three of us, in a cabin in the quaint maountain town of Asheville, NC. It was beautiful. Jen made hores de orves and we bought a turkey dinner from Fresh Market, probably the best bird we've ever had. Spent the day eatting, hanging out and watching football with our little turkey.
