Arizona Football

So this weekend Mike, Jen, Jared (Mike's brother) and Jen's parents traveled in the back seat of Jen's dad's new BMW to Flagstaff, Arizona. Why? To watch Matt (Jen's brother) play college football for Northern Arizona University. He's an awesone kicker (a little biased we know). We all had a pretty good time though. The 6.5 hour drive seemed to take forever! We arrived late Friday night and went straight to bed after seeing Matt's dorm room.

Saturday, we woke up and immediatley went to watch some football. We watched Matt warm up during which he kicked at least 10 perfect field goals. Later during the game he kicked against some pretty heavy winds. We met up with Matt and his future apartment mate for dinner. Of course we had to go somewhere the boys could watch the Laker game. Following the win we went back to the room and played board games. A good weekend all in all with the fam.

We bought a House!

It's offical we bought a house! Yes, it's in Greenville, NC. There's a picture of it. SO cute:) Here's the break down... it's 3 bredroom, 2 baths (the master is ginormous), an office and a bonus room. Our house is techniquely one story but the bonus room is on the second floor but it's the only room on the 2nd floor, so we're calling it a 1 1/2 story house. HeHe. The backyard is huge. We have views of the woods from the all sides of the house but they are closest to the backyard. The builder says they have deer roam the neighborhood and there are beaver back in the creek. We have a pecan tree (we both HATE pecans though) in our backyard. The house is brand new and comes equiped with tons of upgrades like granit counter tops, chair railing, crown moldings, trey ceilings, walkin in closets, an islands in the kitchen, 2 inch plantation shedders, walk in pantry, wood and tile floors and berber carpet. LOVE IT! The best part is besides the price is that it's 3 minutes from the hospital we'll be working at. Yeah!
